Chief Executive Officer, Craig Bingham, said Mr Rix is well placed to continue Bennelong’s vision.
“As the position of Chair is passed to Stephen, we continue to actively explore new opportunities, including the establishment of a London-based business and boutique asset teams in 2017," said Craig.
“Stephen brings extensive leadership experience in a range of investment banking, funds management, private equity and financial services operations, giving him insight into our ever-evolving industry. This, coupled with his knowledge of Bennelong as a business, provides a sound foundation to guiding our future growth.”
Paying tribute to Mike Pratt who has been non-executive Chair of Bennelong since 2014, Craig said, “Mike's leadership helped guide Bennelong as we redefined our goals and accelerated our business growth. We thank him for his contribution and wish him well with his broad endeavours”.
Mike will continue to focus on his multiple roles as Commissioner for Service in the NSW Government, Chair of the Customer Advisory Board - NSW, Deputy Chancellor of the University of Western Sydney, and Non-Executive Directorships of TAL Dai-ichi Life Australia and Credit Union Australia.
