Bennelong recruits BDMs to drive retail growth

Bennelong Funds Management (Bennelong) has recruited two new Business Development Managers to drive its growth plans in the retail market. Adam Tweedale has been appointed to the role of BDM Southern Region and Tim Bolger to the role of BDM Northern Region.

Adam has extensive industry experience gained through a variety of roles at both funds management and financial advisory groups. Adam's sales management responsibilities include tenure with Vanguard, APN Property Group and Macquarie Bank.

Tim comes to Bennelong with a broad financial services background, including state sales management, business development and consultancy positions. Most recently, he was NSW State Sales Manager with Accountancy Insurance Group.

Jarrod Brown, Bennelong Chief Executive Officer (CEO) said the retail focus of the new Business Development Managers is consistent with the group's plans to grow its retail footprint over the next 12-18 months.

"Strong research house ratings and increased dealer group approvals has meant increased traction in the retail market, so the next step is to expand our team to ensure we can service this growing market," Jarrod said.

Bennelong's current suite of funds includes an Australian equities capability through Bennelong Australian Equity Partners, a global capability through Bennelong SGI and a long short strategy via Bennelong Long Short Equity Management.
