Bennelong Australian Equity Partners (BAEP) has won the Australian Equities - Large Caps Fund Manager of 2012 at the inaugural Professional Planner/Zenith Fund Awards. BAEP beat Greencape and Schroders to win the impressive industry award, which was announced at a ceremony in Sydney on Friday.
Paul Cuddy, BAEP's Chief Executive Officer, said BAEP was delighted to receive the award, particularly given the strong competition in the large caps category. "BAEP's success is due to a lot of hard work and the skills, professionalism and experience of the entire team, so this award is an acknowledgement of their collective efforts and achievements over the last four years," said Paul.
The award was based on Zenith's assessment of each nominee's investment management capabilities, and the experience and expertise of the team that implements the managers' investment processes.
BAEP was established by Paul Cuddy and Mark East in 2008, in partnership with Bennelong Funds Management. BAEP manages the Bennelong ex-20 Australian Equities Fund, Bennelong Concentrated Australian Equities Fund and Bennelong Australian Equities Fund.
