Ms Larkins has more than 30 years of experience in executive roles across the financial services, wealth management, superannuation, retail and market exchange sectors.

John Burke, CEO of Bennelong Funds Management, said the company was delighted to welcome her on board.

“Gillian’s extensive experience and expertise in the industry will be invaluable to the company, particularly as we continue to build on our multi-boutique and distribution partnership strategy in the Australian market.”

Ms Larkins was previously Chief Financial Officer at ASX. Prior to this, she was at Perpetual Limited for six years, holding roles as Group CFO and Group Executive. She has also held roles as CFO at Westpac Institutional Bank and Citi (Australia & NZ).

Across her career, Gillian has also held various board positions, including as the chair of investment committees, trusts, and finance and audit committees, as well as deputy chair for several other entities.

As Gillian joins the board, non-executive director and ARCC Chair, Andrea Waters, will depart after eight years on the board.

“Andrea has been an excellent asset to the board since joining us in 2016. On behalf of Bennelong, we thank her for her contributions and wish her all the best for the future,” said John.
